Highly proficient and responsible for all levels of vehicle maintenance and repair. Has the strong ability to diagnose engine, driveline, electrical, HVAC systems, and body electrical faults. Will also aid in higher-level repairs discovered by other technicians in the facility. (Master ASE certifications including L1 and L3 are highly recommended for this position).
Responsible for steering and suspension repair, wheel alignment, brake service, basic powertrain diagnostics, and repair of engine, driveline, cooling systems, electrical, air conditioning, and heating and systems. Skilled with diagnostic equipment and will also aid in repairing service identified by the C-tech. (ASE certifications are highly recommended)
Responsible for scheduled maintenance services, tire installation & wheel balancing, wheel alignment, brake service, battery, and lighting repairs. Other services and tasks added based on ASE certification which is recommended.
To include skill set necessary to diagnose and repair diesel engines, gas engines and powertrains, PM inspections and fleet maintenance, chassis and brake services, body electrical repair, HVAC systems, hydraulic repair knowledge is a plus but not necessary. (ASE certifications in Medium truck specialties including L2 are highly recommended for this position).
